Recently, Changzhou-based NR Electric Power Electronics Co., Ltd. successfully passed the Level 4 reassessment of the national Digital Transformation Maturity Evaluation, becoming the first enterprise in Jiangsu province this year to obtain the standard compliance certificate under this assessment.
China’s digital transformation maturity model consists of five levels, ranging from Level 1 (Initial) to Level 5 (Leading). Level 4, classified as “Optimized,” is currently the highest level open to public assessment. NR Electric’s successful certification reflects its nationally leading position in digital transformation.
In recent years, NR Electric has actively embraced digitization by deeply integrating digital technologies with its operational and management systems. The company has developed its own 5G-enabled industrial internet platform to support digital oversight of its entire production process. This includes the seamless integration of APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), WMS (Warehouse Management System), TMS (Transportation Management System), and QMS (Quality Management System). Through these tools, NR Electric has strengthened intelligent coordination across its supply chain and built a collaborative smart manufacturing ecosystem.
As a leading enterprise in the intelligent power equipment industry chain, NR Electric is not only enhancing its own lean manufacturing and performance management through digital solutions but is also actively sharing its transformation experience with upstream and downstream partners. The company is working closely with its supply chain to co-create digital value, promoting broader adoption of smart practices across the sector.
